I’m a freelance children’s book author & illustrator based in Malvern, Worcestershire, UK (or The Shire as most people I know call it!)

I’m a freelance illustrator that loves working with animals, especially anthropomorphism. I am influenced by cartoons, prominent lines and expressions, but I can be flexible to fit your project to create what your book needs.

I am also hugely into my mythology, folklore and horror - and this weaves its way all through my work. Always happy to have more conversation about any of these subjects!

I’m happy to help with your project, whatever that my be: small one-off spot illustrations, character designs and/or concepts, or full picture book or fiction illustration projects - and anything in between. I love bringing joy through illustration and art in as many ways as I can.

I’m friendly and personable and I love being part of a team, so working with others is a natural environment for me; I’ll make you feel comfortable no matter your request. I’m also very passionate about my work and professional in delivering it. I won’t cut any corners in delivering a project and I treat any commissions like they are my own.

My main area of focus is children’s books illustration, mainly picture books and middle grade fiction. I hope to work on lots of projects in the future. I look forward to hearing from you.

Cards. Prints. Smiles.

I also design and make bespoke cards and prints - both available in my shop. You’ll see me at local craft fairs selling all products.

From January 2025, I will have two local shops in Malvern that are stocking them too, and you’ll hopefully see me at some art & craft fairs in the Worcestershire area. Community and sustainability are two big driving forces for me, and you’ll find all the cards are made locally, and from recycled materials. I’m constantly updating the designs in relevance to the season, so please check back once in a while or sign up to the newsletter for updates.
